Turkish diplomat takes the helm of OSCE
A senior Turkish diplomat, Feridun Sinirlioğlu, has been appointed as the secretary-general of the Organization of Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) with the votes of all 57 member states, becoming the first Turkish national taking the helm of the prestigious organization.

Turkish top diplomat attends OSCE summit amid growing conflicts
Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan attended the OSCE summit in Malta where growing security issues in Europe and the Middle East were the focal point of the 57-nation security and cooperation organization.
The ministerial council of the OSCE was launched in Valetta on Dec. 5, with the participation of dozens of foreign ministers, including the United States, Türkiye, Russia and others.

Istanbul’s Maiden’s Tower getting a new look
Istanbul has not been able to see the Maiden's Tower, one of the landmarks that complete its silhouette, for a while.
Last November, a pier was built around it, and it was covered with a curtain that reads "The Maiden's Tower opens its eyes again," with the logo of the Culture and Tourism Ministry on it.

An exhibition featuring a selection of photographs from the international news photography competition, the Istanbul Photo Awards 2021, kicked off in New York on Oct. 18.
An opening ceremony was held at the newly-inaugurated Türkevi Center, or Turkish House, in New York City.
