Istanbul Film Festival presents awards
The 40th Istanbul Film Festival, organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV) with the contributions of the Culture and Tourism Ministry, was closed with an award ceremony held at Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus Harbiye.
The winners of international and national competitions were announced at the event.

Turkish director chosen as best in Moscow
"Sarı Sıcak" (Yellow Heat), which won four awards including the Best Film Award at this year's Istanbul Film Festival, returned from the 39th Moscow International Film Festival with the Best Director Award.
Written and directed by Fikret Reyhan, the film made its international premiere at the festival, which ended on June 29 in Moscow.

'Yellow Heat,' 'Clair Obscur' lead pack at Istanbul Film Festival awards
Fikret Reyhan's "Yellow Heat" was the big winner at the awards for the 36th Istanbul Film Festival, picking up four Golden Tulips, including one for best film.
"Yellow Heat" was closely followed by Yeşim Ustaoğlu's "Clair Obscur," which one three awards, including one for best director to the veteran filmmaker Ustaoğlu.
