Serbian students win four bronze medals at Informatics Olympiad

Serbia's team of high school students has won four bronze medals at the International Olympiad in Informatics held in Tehran.

According to the Mathematical Society of Serbia, the medals were won by Filip Vesovic, Momcilo Topalovic, and Vladimir Milenkovic from Belgrade's Mathematical High School, and Dusan Zivanovic from the Svetozar Markovic Gymnasium in Nis.

Young programmers win second place in Russia

BELGRADE - A three-member team of the Mathematical Gymnasium Belgrade has won the second place at the 15th programming championship in Russia among a total of 46 teams.

The Serbian team comprised: Nikola Jovanovic, Luka Vukelic and Filip Vesovic, and the competition was held in the city of Kazan, the Russian Republic of Tatarstan.

BELGRADE -- Serbian high school students have won 12 medals at the 11th International Zhautykov Olympiad in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science held in Kazakhstan.

They come from the Mathematical Grammar School in Belgrade and the Svetozar Markovic High School in Nis, southern Serbia.

BELGRADE - Students from the Mathematical Grammar School in Belgrade and Svetozar Markovic High School in Nis have won 12 medals at the 11th International Zhautykov Olympiad in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science in Kazakhstan.

The Serbian high school students won one gold, three silver and eight bronze medals. the Mathematical Grammar School said in a release Saturday.
