In a powerful display of solidarity and defiance, over 10,000 individuals gathered outside a church in Moscow today for the funeral of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny. Chanting slogans such as "Alexei" and "We are not afraid," mourners paid their respects to Navalny, who died in prison on February 16.

"The crimes were allegedly committed on the occupied territory of Ukraine at least since February 24, 2022. There are reasonable grounds to assume that Putin bears individual criminal responsibility for the aforementioned crimes," the ICC said on Friday.

An alert has been declared in Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv and Kharkiv regions, as well as in other regions across Ukraine. At the same time, a battle is being prepared for the Kherson region, and the population has already been told to flee.

The occupation authorities frantically evacuate thousands from the city of Kherson

The commander of Russian forces in Ukraine admits that the situation in the southern city of Kherson is "difficult" and its residents must be evacuated, the BBC reported.

He spoke after a massive missile attack on energy facilities and residential areas across Ukraine.
In a video shared on Twitter by BBC journalist Francis Scarr, Alexander Artamonov can be seen saying on Russian state television that "the strikes must continue systematically" after this morning's attack.
