A magnitude-6.3 earthquake hit the Aegean Sea near the Turkish coast early on July 21.
 
At least two people, one of them was Turkish citizen, were killed on the Greek island of Kos after the strong earthquake.

Several people were also injured in the Aegean province of Muğla.

The Lion and Demeter of Knidos, which were unearthed in the ancient city of Knidos in Datça, are on display at the British Museum.
