Minister-delegate for European Affairs George Ciamba on Monday presented Romania's priorities at the helm of the Council of the European Union during a meeting with the head World Bank's Office in Bucharest (country manager for Romania and Bulgaria), Tatiana Proskuryakova.

"We concluded the first trilogue of Romania's Presidency (...) and it is important as it is a file regarding personal data protection," Minister-delegate for European Affairs George Ciamba said in Strasbourg on Wednesday.

Prime Minister Viorica Dancila will present on Tuesday the priorities of the Romanian Presidency to the Council of the European Union, in Strasbourg, at the plenary session of the European Parliament, according to a press release issued on Sunday evening for AGERPRES.

Minister-delegate for European Affairs George Ciamba highlighted, in the meeting on Thursday with his French counterpart Nathalie Loiseau, Romania's interest in ensuring a successful mandate at the Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

Minister Delegate for European Affairs George Ciamba will attend on Tuesday the meeting of the General Affairs Council (GAC), with Romania's list of priorities while holding the helm of the EU Council topping the event's agenda.
