Delivery of Skaramangas Shipyards to Prokopiou group enters final stretch
The compensation process for approximately 750 workers at the Skaramangas Shipyards by the company's special administrator has gathered pace and, once concluded, will represent the final step ahead of the delivery of the shipyards without any obligations to the group of George Prokopiou.
Intermodal: Interest for new LNG Carriers and LPG Carriers
Interest in the construction of new ships carrying liquefied natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas has been expressed in recent days, according to brokerage firm Intermodal.
A total of nine LNG Carriers and LPG Carriers agreements were signed last week.

ABN AMRO pumps billions into shipping finance
ABN AMRO is pumping billions of dollars into its shipping finance business as the sector looks to recovery just as European rivals cut their exposure due to tougher capital constraints, the Dutch state banks head of shipping said.
ABN AMRO has tripled its ship finance portfolio to around $7-8 billion from $2.5 billion in 2009-2010, Gust Biesbroeck told Reuters.
