The agreement between the PASOK leadership candidates regarding the organization of the televised debate on ERT next Tuesday remains unresolved, as their representatives did not reach a conclusion concerning direct dialogue.

Five political leaders of the parties that managed to gain parliamentary representation in the May 21 elections will cross swords in a televised debate starting at 9 p.m. on Thursday.

The six main parties have agreed to a televised pre-election debate, which will be held on May 10 at 9 p.m., state broadcaster ERT has reported.

The decision was made at a meeting of the interparty elections committee, which was chaired by caretaker Interior Minister Kalliopi Spanou.
