Prolific Greece trounces Kazakhstan, sets up final with Georgia
Greece has got one final hurdle to clear on its way to Euro 2024, after thrashing Kazakhstan on Thursday with a 5-0 score in Athens.
The Greek national team has advanced to the final of its division in the UEFA Nations League and must beat Georgia away in five days' time to qualify to this summer's finals in Germany.
Olympiakos tops league at halfway point
Olympiakos has been crowned winter champion, i.e. will finish first at the halfway point of the regular season, after a very comfortable win over struggling Larissa, while PAOK defeated Panathinaikos in the weekend's most appetizing encounter.

Panathinaikos wins Athens derby against AEK
Youssef El Arabi scored a hat-trick to see Olympiakos alone on top of the Super League table after its win over Volos, but it was Panathinaikos that stole the weekend's show with its Athens derby win over AEK on Sunday.

Olympiakos ends regular season undefeated and seven points clear
Champion PAOK unexpectedly dropped two points on Sunday at the club it is alleged to share the same owner, Xanthi, and finished the regular season of the Super League seven points behind leader Olympiakos.
The Reds will therefore need eight wins in the 10 games of the playoffs to clinch the title. The playoffs begin on March 7 and the draw for the schedule will take place on March 3.
PAOK one win away from the Super League title
PAOK is just a win away from clinching its first league title in 34 years, after beating Lamia at home on Sunday, while Olympiakos thrashed Panetolikos away.
With 24 wins and three draws from 27 games, PAOK is close to winning the championship unbeaten, a feat unseen since 1964 in the Greek league.
