Rhythm of art to beat at Atatürk Culture Center
The Türk Telekom Opera Hall in Istanbul's Atatürk Cultural Center (AKM) will host the leading names in the world of art during the Beyoğlu Cultural Road Festival, organized by the Culture and Tourism Ministry from May 28 to June 12 this year.

Charity concert in Athens draws thousands
Thousands attended a charity concert at the capital's Panathenaic Stadium (Kallimarmaro) on Wednesday night featuring several A-list Greek singers and musicians including Eleftheria Arvanitaki, Glykeria, Giorgos Dalaras and Eleonora Zouganeli in a tribute to rebetiko master Vassilis Tsitsanis.

Turkish musician and composer Omar Faruk Tekbilek performs at the Diogenis Studio on Friday, January 20, as part of the Athens Music Festival. The festival runs through March. Greek vocalists Glykeria and Matoula Zamani will be joining him on stage. The concert begins at 9 p.m. Admission starts at 15 euros.
