Bosnia Still Failing to Address Discrimination Verdict
Eight years after the European Court of Human Rights, ECHR ruled that the Bosnian authorities had discriminated against Dervo Sejdic and Jakov Finci by refusing to allow them to run for the Bosnian presidency because of their ethnicity, nothing has changed, said Sejdic.

Serbian Ombudsman Urged to Run for President
Hundreds of eminent public figures in Serbia have signed a public letter of support for Ombudsman Sasa Jankovic, urging him to run in the 2017 presidential election as an independent, saying he represents democratic values, integrity and authority.

Free Zone Film Festival Returns to Serbia
The Free Zone Film Festival, one of the most popular movie events in the country, will take place in Belgrade, Nis and Novi Sad from November 5 to 10.
Films included in this year's festival programme will be screened in eight cinemas across the country.

FAF: Indian film Court wins Grand Prix
BELGRADE - The film Court by Indian director Chaitanya Tamhane has won the Aleksandar Petrovic Grand Prix at the 20th Art Film Festival (FAF).
Chaitanya, who both directed and wrote the script for Court, received the award at the closing ceremony at Dom Omladine in Belgrade on Wednesday.

4th Danube Fest to be held on September 5-13
BELGRADE - The fourth Danube Fest, which will commemorate the centenary of the outbreak of World War I, is to be held on September 5-13 at the Belgrade Fortress, a press conference was told on Wednesday.
As in the previous years, the programme was conceived by the artistic council, comprised of three renowned Serbian artists - Katarina Jovanovic, Goran Markovic and Nebojsa Bradic.

International Sport Film Festival starts Friday at Zlatibor
ZLATIBOR - The 3rd International Sport Film Festival is taking place August 22-25 on Mt. Zlatibor, western Serbia.
The competition part of the program will feature 12 documentaries by filmmakers from India, England, East Timor, France, Russia, Poland, U.S., Canada,Turkey, Bulgaria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Serbia.
Danube Fest dedicated to centenary of World War I
BELGRADE - The fourth iteration of Danube Fest, a festival of Danubian culture, will be held in Belgrade on September 5-14, commemorating the centenary of the outbreak of World War I.
Inspired by a 1937 film by the famous French director and screenwriter Jean Renoir, the event will be held under the motto "The Great Illusion."
