Turkish FM calls on Baghdad to gain support of Sunnis and Kurds in fight against ISIL

The Iraqi government should gain the support the country's Sunnis to regain their confidence in the fight against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavu?o?lu has said, stressing an armed struggle against the jihadist group would not be sufficient without the support of all Iraqi people, especially its Sunnis.

Turkey, Poland hope to double trade volume to $6 billion

Turkey and Poland have the potential to double bilateral trade to $6 billion, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Çavu?o?lu said March 24.

"Poland is a country with which our bilateral trade volume has increased without a break," Çavu?o?lu said, addressing the media at a gala dinner held in honor of visiting Polish Foreign Minister Grzegorz Schetyna.

UK's Hammond States EU Readiness for New Sanctions against Russia

UK Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond has stated Thursday that sanctions against Russia can only be lifted in case the Minsk agreement is upheld.

Moscow confirms expulsions of German and Polish diplomats

Russia said Monday it has expelled a German diplomat and a number of Polish diplomats in response to the expulsion of its diplomats amid cooling ties with the EU over Ukraine.
      
Moscow said the German was expelled from Moscow in a retaliatory measure for what it described as an "unfriendly" step earlier by Berlin of expelling a Russian diplomat.

The new cabinet in Poland will try to improve ties with Moscow and Kiev, Foreign Minister Grzegorz Schetyna has announced.

His comments for Polish media outlets come briefly after Ewa Kopacz was sworn in as the country's Prime Minister over the weekend, the Bulgarian National Radio reports.
