UNICEF Türkiye has appointed Hadise, the well-known Turkish popstar and previous Eurovision contestant, as their newest Child Rights Advocate to support UNICEF Türkiye's efforts in the coming year.

The 47th Pantene Golden Butterfly Awards, the longest-running award ceremony that takes the pulse of the country's cinema, TV and music world, took place in Istanbul on Dec. 5.

Winners selected by the public and jury votes got their awards in various categories at the ceremony, organized in collaboration between the daily Hürriyet and Pantene, held at Zorlu PSM.

'Müthiş Bir Film,' a love letter to filmmaking, a nostalgic and comedic look at the film industry half a century ago in Turkey, takes place in the 1960s, following two friends' quest to fulfill their childhood fantasy of making a film.
