Turkish police have detained 22 people in the southern province of Antalya in an operation against the outlawed far-left Revolutionary People's Liberation Party-Front (DHKP-C), a day after two militants with suspected links to the group took a prosecutor hostage in Istanbul.

Reports on a young Gezi protester, who became publicly known as “the girl with the red foulard,” which states that she joined the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), have been used as evidence by the prosecutor in her trial.
