Vucic receives farewell visit from Turkish ambassador

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic received a farewell visit from Turkish Ambassador to Belgrade Hami Aksoy on Friday, thanking him for his personal contribution to advancement of bilateral relations.

At the meeting, Vucic highlighted the significance of intensive political dialogue, growing economic cooperation and friendly relations between Serbs and Turks.

Petkovic, Turkish ambassador discuss situation in Kosovo-Metohija, position of Serbs

BELGRADE - The head of the Serbian government Office for Kosovo-Metohija Petar Petkovic met with Turkish Ambassador to Belgrade Hami Aksoy on Wednesday to discuss the current situation in Kosovo-Metohija, pointing out that Serbs in the province faced impossible living conditions and were subjected to daily attacks and terror by Albin Kurti's regime.

Turkish, Serbian police hold 125 irregular migrants at Croatia border

Turkish police in a joint border duty with Serbian authorities on the Croatian border reportedly caught 125 irregular migrants trying to illegally cross into EU countries.

According to a statement by the Turkish Embassy in Belgrade, over the past 40 days, a total of 125 migrants who illegally entered Turkish cargo trucks have been held.

Greece is safe haven for FETÖ terrorists: Turkish Foreign Ministry

It is observed that Greece has become a haven for the members of the FETÖ, the group behind the 2016 defeated coup in Turkey, a Turkish Foreign Ministry spokesman said on March 12. 

Hami Aksoy responded to a question in a written statement and said FETÖ propaganda was made public in an online event held in Greece.
