Drecun meets with MEP Lacapelle

BELGRADE - The head of the Serbian parliamentary committee on Kosovo-Metohija Milovan Drecun met with French MEP Jean-Lin Lacapelle on Friday.

Drecun noted that Serbia would never recognise the false state of Kosovo, regardless of evident political pressure and manipulation, the Serbian parliament said in a statement.

Vucic, Taci discuss when to resume dialogue

SOFIA - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said in Sofia on Thursday he had met with Kosovo President Hasim Taci earlier in the day to discuss when to resume the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue in Brussels.

They met on the fringes of a summit of Western Balkan and EU leaders in the Bulgarian capital.

BRUSSELS - Two-day technical-level discussions in the dialogue on normalisation of Belgrade-Pristina relations concluded in Brussels Tuesday, with a new round of discussions slated for next month.

Tanjug's unofficial sources in Brussels said Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Kosovo President Hasim Taci could hold an informal meeting in Sofia on March 1.

Dacic, Lavrov: Taci's statement changes nothing

BELGRADE - Serbia and Russia are in broad agreement on most international issues, FMs Ivica Dacic and Sergey Lavrov said at a meeting in Belgrade on Thursday.

When asked to comment on Kosovo President Hasim Taci's statement that a recognition of Kosovo by Russia would be "helpful", they said such a view did not change anything.

Vucic, Taci meet in Davos

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic spoke in Davos on Thursday with Hasim Taci, president of the interim institutions in Pristina, about a resumption of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue and problems on the path to normalisation of relations.

They also discussed a request for Serbian authorities to join the investigation of the murder of Kosovo Serb politician Oliver Ivanovic.

Berlin, Paris issue warning to Kosovo leaders

PRISTINA - A delegation of French and German officials has arrived in Kosovo on an urgent mission to block any initiatives aimed at abolishing the special war crimes court.

The delegation held meetings with Kosovo President Hasim Taci and PM Ramus Haradinaj to warn them that the consequences of abolishing the court would be huge, Pristina's Koha ditore daily reported.
