An online petition calling on the US online streaming platform Netflix to recognise Kosovo as separate from Serbia has received over 23,000 signatures since its launch on Tuesday and caught public attention in the country.

He pointed out that this will happen if the dialogue process does not end with an agreement on mutual recognition.
After a meeting with political representatives of Albanians from the south of central Serbia, Hoti said that Pristina has the right to retaliate against Belgrade for every measure that, as it claims, Belgrade applies, Voice of America reports.

The Constitutional Court ruled on Monday that Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti's government is illegitimate because it was voted in by a majority in the Kosovo Assembly that included a vote cast by MP Etem Arifi, who was given a prison sentence for corruption.

Any request for a visit will be treated in the context of the country's current state of affairs, Hoti replied.

Vesi stated that he expects the court to say whether it is allowed to ban the movement of people in Europe.

"We are not negotiating trade agreements with Serbia, and I clearly said that at the meetings I had with the Serbian President in the dialogue process, but also at other international round tables where we met," Hoti pointed out, as Kosovo online reports.

Hoti - born in 1945 in Ratkovac - was a Russian language professor at the Pristina University, a translator, and a media worker who was captured and murdered while working with a Russian state television crew that was in Kosovo in July 1998 in an attempt to interview members of the KLA ("Kosovo Liberation Army") in the village of Lapusnik.
