Bulgaria is set to welcome the world's top athletes for the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships in Sofia, which will also offer Olympic qualification for Tokyo 2020.

The Arena Armeec will stage an event which is the first competition in any of the gymnastic disciplines to offer Olympic berths.

On June 2nd and 3rd, the Borisova Garden will be a top sporting location where every visitor will have the opportunity to join for free in selected sports or group training.

The competition took place from July 14 to July 17 this year. The three grade-6 students Yordan Petkov, Konstantin Georgiev and Stanislav Grigorov have been invited to participate in it thanks to their excellent results and medals they had previously won.

The rhythimic gymnastics team of Bulgaria may have a second performance to bid farewell to fans after their show at the packed Arena Armeec hall on Thursday.

Twelve thousand people watched the performance live marking the end to the ensemble's years-long international career full of trophies.

Former Foreign Minister Solomon Passy has left liberal party NDSV (National Movement for Stability and Progress) and called for its dissolution.

According to a Twitter update of Passy, NDSV should be disbanded because it has accomplished its goals.
