Grand reopening for National Theatre of Bucharest after renovation
A version of Victor Eftimiu's magic poem 'Insir'te margarite' (String, pearl!) adapted and directed by actor Dan Puric premiered on Saturday evening in the Grand Hall of the National Theatre of Bucharest (TNB) after four years of renovation works on the building.

Gopo Awards Gala: 'Closer to the moon,' best feature film
"Closer to the moon" on Monday evening was awarded the best feature film prize in this year's edition of the Gopo Awards Gala and Nae Caranfil received the best director award for the same film.

Curtain Up at Romania’s Revamped Theatre
The people of Bucharest will finally get to see the result of refurbishment work at the country's National Theater, which has cost 60 million euro.
The theatre has undergone a complete revamp, including four new airy halls, walkways, art galleries, cafetarias and a bookshop.
