Turkey to meet Aussies in World Cup round of 16
Turkey has advanced to the Round of 16 at the FIBA Basketball World Cup after seeing off the Dominican Republic 77-64 on Sept. 4 to finish second in Group C behind the unbeaten United States and set up a date with Australia on Sept. 7.

Turkey beats Dominican Republic, set to face Australia in last 16
Turkey took second in Group C at the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup after a 77-64 win over third placed Dominican Republic with OÄuz SavaÅ leading the way with 15 points.
The Turkish national team will face Australia in the last 16, who were beaten by Angola 91-83 but gave a rest to two of their top players, Joe Ingles and Aron Baynes.
