Investments announced in Serbia's northern province
Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic met on Friday with President of the Vojvodina Provicncial Assembly and Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians leader Istvan Pasztor.
Pasztor reelected president of Vojvodina provincial assembly
Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians (SVM) leader Istvan Pasztor was on Thursday reelected as the speaker of the assembly of Serbia's Vojvodina province.
The decision was carried by 91 votes for and 14 against, with 13 abstentions.
Ethnic Hungarian party expects "deal in principle" with SNS
Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians (SVM) President Istvan Pasztor said on Tuesday he expected to meet with SNS leader Aleksandar Vucic "very soon."
The meeting should produce "a deal in principle," in the wake of Vucic's announcement he would propose Pasztor as president of the Vojvodina Provincial Assembly.

The Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians (SVM) is counting on post-election cooperation with the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) at provincial level as well.
SVM leader Istvan Pasztor, who is also the president of the Vojvodina provincial assembly, made the statement on Monday, Tanjug reported.
Elections to be held simultaneously at all levels
Provincial and local elections will be held simultaneously with early parliamentary elections.
This was announced on Friday in Novi Sad by Vojvodina Provincial Assembly Speaker Istvan Pasztor and Serbian National Assembly Speaker Maja Gojkovic.

Serb-Hungarian relations "on upward trajectory"
Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic on Monday received Vojvodina ssembly President Istvan Pasztor.
According to a statement from the Serbian government quoted by Tanjug, Vucic "informed Pasztor about the latest economic analysis, results of fiscal consolidation and major macroeconomic trends in Serbia."
