Kozloduy NPP Transferred BGN 7 M to Westinghouse under Upgrade Program for Units 5, 6
Bulgaria's Ministry of Economy and Energy specified that US company Westinghouse Energy Systems had been transferred over BGN 7 M under a program for the upgrade of units 5 and 6 of the Kozloduy nuclear power plant.
The media statement was published to dispel allegations that the money had been transferred under the project for a seventh unit at the Kozloduy-based N-plant.

CEO of Bulgaria’s Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant Replaced Overnight
Ivan Genov, Chief Executive of the Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant has been replaced through a decision of the Bulgarian Energy Holding (BEH).
The new CEO of the Kozloduy NPP is Dimitar Angelov.
Angelov was CEO of the N-plant in 2007-2009, according to reports of dnevnik.bg.

Bulgaria to Not See Electricity Price Hikes in Years – Socialist MP
Socialist MP Yavor Kuyumdzhiev has assured that electricity prices in Bulgaria will not increase for years.
"Anybody may request an increase in power rates but what matters is what the State Commission for Energy and Water Regulation (DKEVR) permits, and the demands of power distributors are unrealistic," Kuyumdzhiev said Thursday in an interview for Nova TV.
