Film nights returning to Izola
Izola – The 17th Izola international film festival will start tonight, featuring 34 full-length and 97 short films. Until Sunday, projections will be held in Izola, and Ljubljana’s Kinodvor and the Slovenian Cinematheque. This year, art cinemas in Tolmin, Idrija and Sežana will also join the festival.

"Autoportretul unei fete cuminti" - Best Fiction Film Award in Crossing Europe Film Festival Linz
The feature film "Autoportretul unei fete cuminti" (Self-Portrait of Dutiful Daughter), directed by Ana Lungu, won the Best Fiction Film Award in the Crossing Europe Film Festival of Linz, Austria, informs a release of the producer remitted to AGERPRES on Tuesday.

Jordan's Wolf and Serbia's No One's Child named best at Fest
BELGRADE - The Belgrade Victor awards for best film at the 43rd International Film Festival Fest went to the Jordanian-UAE co-production Wolf in the main competitive programme and Serbia's No One's Child in the national selection.
Late Sunday's award ceremony officially closed the festival, which featured 90 premieres in various programmes from February 27.

Ivan Ikic wins special recognition at Karlovy Vary festival
BELGRADE/KARLOVY VARY - Young Serbian director Ivan Ikic won the special recognition at the 49th Film Festival in Karlovy Vary for his debut film 'Varvari' (Barbarians).
The recognition was delivered to Ikic within the East of the West competition programme.
Serbia at Cannes Film Festival
BELGRADE - Serbia will be presented by the movie entitled Leto bez meseca (Moonless Summer) directed by Stefan Ivancic in the official selections of this year's Cannes Festival.
The movie was produced by the Faculty of Dramatic Arts and the Belgrade-based Non-Aligned Films and it will be displayed as part of Cinefondation program on May 21.
