SunExpress, a joint venture company of Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa, has said it broke another revenue record in 2015, adding that 2016 would be a year for seeking new markets in a written statement on March 2. 

SunExpress, a joint venture of Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa, has exercised an option for 10 Boeing 737 MAX 8s, the companies said in a written statement on Feb. 22. 

The option for the incremental MAXs was part of a 50 airplane deal signed in February 2014 and completes the largest order in the airline's 27-year history, according to the statement. 

SunExpress, a joint venture of Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa, completed the first half of 2015 with an 18 percent increase in passengers, compared to the same period in 2014, it said in a press release.
