Poland will this year look into ways of getting compensation for its destruction during World War Two, Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz said on Wednesday, cited by Reuters.

"We will talk about the need to compensate Poles for the losses suffered during World War Two," he told parliament in a section of a speech focused on Polish-German relations.

Greek Defense Minister Panos Kammenos and his Polish counterpart Mariusz Blaszczak signed a bilateral security and defense treaty during a ceremony in Warsaw on Wednesday.

The two ministers also discussed developments in the European Union and NATO, while they agreed to bolster cooperation between state-owned and private industries in both countries.

Poland's Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz and European Commission Vice President, Frans Timmermans, discussed a controversial Polish reform in the judiciary in Brussels on Thursday, the Associated Press reported.

Poland will not make any concessions in its dispute with the European Union over the country's judicial reforms, Jaroslaw Kaczynski, the head of the ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party, said on Friday, quoted by Reuters.
