Calathes keeps Panathinaikos in contention
Nick Calathes nearly produced a triple-double on Friday to lead Panathinaikos to an emphatic Euroleague win over Anadolu Efes at home, after Olympiakos suffered a bad home loss to Barcelona on Thursday.
The Greens put an end to a three-game losing streak to beat Efes 88-75 for their ninth win in 21 matches.

Breathtaking match sees the Reds end losing streak to the Greens
Olympiakos won a classic Greek derby for the Euroleague beating Panathinaikos 87-85 away to put an end to its five-game losing streak in all competitions against its Eternal Rival. The result keeps Olympiakos second at the table and takes Panathinaikos down to seventh.
Greeks ever more dominant in the Euroleague
Vassilis Spanoulis is back for good, leading Olympiakos to a home triumph over Euroleague favorite CSKA Moscow, while Panathinaikos produced an emphatic victory over Maccabi Tel Aviv, as the table's top four includes the two Greek superpowers.
Panathinaikos extended its perfect home record beating Maccabi 89-76 on Tuesday, shaking off the absence of injured playmaker Nick Calathes.

A huge victory for Panathinaikos, the third consecutive and the second in an away game.
The player that took the Greek team by the hand and led it all the way to this amazing win was Nick Calathes, with 29 points, 9 rebounds, 10 assists.
Euroleague triumphs for Greens and Reds
The tough week in the Euroleague has started triumphantly for the Greek teams, as Panathinaikos trounced hitherto joint leader Khimki in Athens and Olympiakos downed European champion Fenerbahce in Turkey.
On Tuesday the Greens eclipsed Khimki 93-65 at the Olympic Sports Hall with an outstanding all-around performance that gave the Russian team no chance on the night.

Greens alone at the Basket League summit
Panathinaikos is alone on top of the Basket League after defeating hitherto unbeaten Promitheas Patras 96-64 on Monday, while the Basketball Champions League obligations appear to take their tool on Greece's participants, who suffered in the local championship.

Greens defeat Real Madrid, but Galatasaray shocked Olympiakos
Panathinaikos saw off Euroleague leader Real Madrid on Thursday, while Olympiakos was upset at home by Galatasaray on Friday and is yet to clinch home advantage for the play-offs.
The Greens produced a great performance in offense to beat Real 88-82 at the Olympic Sports Hall in Athens and reach a 15-11 record that keeps them in fifth, two wins behind the top four.
Overtime win for Greens, bad loss for Reds
This time Panathinaikos ended up on the winning side after overtime as the Greens needed 45 minutes to beat visiting Maccabi Tel Aviv on Thursday, while Olympiakos went down at Galatasaray on Friday in a loss that was not anticipated.

Olympiakos wins first finals game with Panathinaikos

Olympiakos had a harder time than expected in beating depleted Panathinaikos in Game 1 of the final series of the Basket League on Sunday, but will still be happy with the 76-70 result at the Peace and Friendship Stadium that maintains it as the clear favorite to win back the league title from its eternal rival.
