Milly Alcock the new Supergirl

"House of the Dragon" star Milly Alcock is set to star in "Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow."

Alcock, who plays Rhaenyra Targaryen in the HBO series, and will play Superman's cousin Kara Zor-El in the upcoming movie.

DC Studios Co-CEO James Gunn posted the news to Instagram.

Clark Kent and Lois Lane have officially been cast in James Gunn's new DC superhero blockbuster "Superman: Legacy."

Rachel Brosnahan has been tapped to play Lois Lane and David Corenswet will wear Superman's iconic red cape, representatives for Warner Bros. Pictures, the film's studio, confirmed to CNN on June 27.

James Gunn to direct ‘Superman: Legacy,’ aiming for 2025

James Gunn is directing a Superman film. "Superman: Legacy," which Gunn also wrote, is also set for a July 11, 2025, he and his co-chair and fellow CEO of DC Studios Peter Safran announced on March 15.

The film, Gunn said, deals with the superhero's journey to make sense of both his aristocratic Kryptonian heritage and his small town, midwestern upbringing as Clark Kent.

Maria Bakalova becomes part of the Marvel universe. The Bulgarian will take part in "Guardians of the Galaxy 3".
