Serbia's Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic received on Friday Slovakia's outgoing Ambassador Jan Varso.

Vucic thanked the diplomat "for the cooperation and personal contribution to improving relations between Serbia and Slovakia" - and "for Slovakia's principled position concerning the non-recognition of the unilateral declaration of independence of Kosovo."

BELGRADE - Slovakian Ambassador to Serbia Jan Varso hosted on Thursday a reception to mark Slovakia's Constitution Day and Serbian Parliament Speaker Maja Gojkovic and presidential adviser Oliver Antic were among the guests.

The relations between Serbia and Slovakia have always been good and friendly, Varso said addressing the guests after the two nation's anthems were played.

BELGRADE - Slovakian Ambassador in Serbia Jan Varso said in the talks with Serbian Minister of Labour, Employment, Veteran Care and Social Affairs Aleksandar Vulin that he supports the reforms conducted by the Serbian government, especially the reform of labour legislations.

BELGRADE - Serbian Defence Minister Bratislav Gasic has spoken to Slovakia'a Ambassador to Serbia Jan Varso, who said that his country will continue to provide assistance to Serbia and that it is oriented towards further development of political and economic ties.
