Djokovic to play in Doha in February
DOHA - Serbia's top-ranked tennis player Novak Djokovic will play at the Doha ATP tournament in February next year, organisers announced on Wednesday evening.
The tournament will take place from February 17 through 22, an official statement said.
Djokovic, who last played in Doha in 2019, has won the tournament twice in his career - in 2016 and 2017.

BELGRADE - Serbia's top-ranked tennis player Novak Djokovic announced on Tuesday he would miss the ATP Finals in Turin due to an injury problem.
"It's quite an honor to qualify for the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin. I was really looking forward to being there, but due to ongoing injury I won't be playing next week," Djokovic wrote in an Instagram post.

SHANGHAI - Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic is through to the semi-finals of the Shanghai Masters after a 6-7 (4-7), 6-1, 6-3 victory over Czech Jakub Mensik on Friday.
Djokovic, who won after two hours and 20 minutes of play, will next face American Taylor Fritz, who defeated Belgian David Goffin 6-3, 6-4 earlier in the day.
