The second ship transporting humanitarian aid to Gaza as part of the Amalthea project is likely to depart from Larnaca, Cyprus on Saturday, according to the Cyprus News Agency (CNA).

Efforts towards a truce in the Israel-Hamas war appeared to rekindle on Saturday after a new proposal from the Palestinian militant group which also called for more aid into Gaza, where the first food shipment by sea reached shore.

The estranged husband of a missing mother of five, Fotis Dulos (center), has been the focus of intense media scrutiny since last week when he was arraigned on murder and kidnapping charges by Stamford Superior Court in the US state of Connecticut.
