The Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Rectorate has won a lawsuit against an ad agency filed in 2023 regarding the allegation that 56 artworks exhibited in the Joan Miro Exhibition were counterfeit, with a compensation of 16,505 Turkish Liras awarded.

An exhibition of works by the great Catalan painter and sculptor, "Miro's Universe" is taking place in Athens for the first time, at the neoclassical building that is the headquarters of the Spanish Cervantes Institute on Skoufa Street in Kolonaki. The exhibition will run through July 27.

Two Picasso paintings, one of which has spent more than 60 years in a private collection and has never been auctioned, will be among the highlights of the November sale at Christie's in New York.

Pera Museum, which has brought works by many famous artists to Turkey, now presents an important selection of its exhibitions on its YouTube channel. The video series include Frida Kahlo-Diego Rivera, Fernando Botero, Andy Warhol, Rembrandt, Goya and Giorgio de Chirico, Joan Miró and Yıldız Moran.

A court case on a fake exhibition of one of the 20th century's most important artists, Joan Miro, which opened on Nov. 20, 2013, at Istanbul's Mimar Sinan University Faculty of Fine Arts Tophane-i Amire Culture and Arts Center, has been concluded. 

Contemporary art fair ArtInternational, which kicked off at the Haliç Congress Center on Sept. 4, ended on Sept. 6 after registering a record-breaking set of sales. More than 30,000 people visited the fair over the three days. 

More than 2,000 collectors and art traders visited the fair, bringing in a record-smashing total sales value of $30.2 million. 

Works by world-famous artists will be showcased at the ArtInternational fair to be held between Sept. 4 and 6 in Istanbul. 

The third ArtInternational will gather pieces by pop-art icon Andy Warhol, British contemporary artist Grayson Perry, English graffiti artist Banksy, Catalan artist Joan Miro and Belgian multidisciplinary artist Jan Fabre.
