World champion says Rubik’s Cube and violin go hand in hand
A University of Michigan student is one of the world's foremost "speedcubers," a person capable of quickly solving a Rubik's Cube. He also is an accomplished violinist.
Stanley Chapel says the two fields go hand in hand.
Not only does Chapel say he has equal interest in both, but the 21-year-old says the violin has aided in his speedcubing success.
German conductor to perform, give training in Turkey
German conductor Frieder Bernius is set to perform in Turkey, the Turkish Culture and Tourism Ministry announced on Nov. 4.
Bernius, the founder and director of Kammerchor Stuttgart (Stuttgart Chamber Choir), will lead a series of concerts and training in Istanbul and the capital Ankara.

Kadıköy Municipality Pandemic Orchestra, which was formed by Kadıköy Municipality to support musicians who have no income during the COVID-19 pandemic and who have gone through an economically difficult process, took the stage for the first time on Dec. 7.
Athens String Quartet | Athens | March 4
The Athens String Quartet will appear at the Athens Concert Hall's Dimitris Mitropoulos with a program of works by three great composers: Johann Sebastian Bach's "Die Kunst der Fuge: Subject and Contrapuncti 6, 4, 9," Alfred Schnittke's String Quartet No. 3, and Ludwig van Beethoven's String Quartet No. 13 in B-flat major (Op.130). The quartet is comprised of two violins, a viola and a cello.
