Bulgaria's Grigor Dimitrov bowed out twice in as many weeks in US tennis tournaments.

Two years after his last Grand Slam title, Novak Djokovic is a major champion once again, sweeping Kevin Anderson 6-2, 6-2, 7-6 (3) on Sunday to win his fourth Wimbledon championship.

Both players were coming off grueling five-set semifinals, but this matchup was a tidy affair, with No. 12 Djokovic wrapping up the title in just over 2 hours, 15 minutes.

Stefanos Tsitsipas has reached the last 16 at Wimbledon, dispatching Italy's Thomas Fabiano in straight sets on Friday.

He has therefore become the first Greek man, at the age of just 19 years, to reach the fourth round of a Grand Slam tournament in the Open era.

Despite the strange loss from John Isner (US) at the 1/8-final of the Masters Tournament in Paris (€ 4.2m), Grigor Dimitrov will make two-position jump in the world tennis rankings on Monday. The Bulgarian had lead of 5:2 in the III set, in 5:3 served for the win in the  match but in the end lost 6:7 (10), 7: 5, 6:7(3).

In an extremely dramatic match in which he almost got the victory, Grigor Dimitrov lost to the American John Isner and thus dropped out of the Masters 1000 series tournament in Paris again in the third round, as in all his previous appearances.

The best Bulgarian tennis player Grigor Dimitrov defeated with 6:4, 6:4 Frenchman Richard Gasquet in a match from the second round of the Masters Series in Paris. Thus, the Bulgarian already has 3 wins in 8 games against the 31-year-old Frenchman, and in their last three clashes the Bulgarian has not lost set against this rival.

Bulgarian tennis player Grigor Dimitrov will meet the top-ranked Rafael Nadal in the China Open semi-finals on Saturday, 7th of October.

The third-seeded Dimitrov, vice champion in the last season's race moves to the semifinals after beating the fifth-seeded Roberto Bautista Agut (Spain) 7-6 (5), 4-6, 6-2.

Grigor Dimitrov is in the semi-finals of the ATP 500 category in Beijing. The Bulgarian ranked 3rd in the tournamet won in three sets against Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut in a 1/4 match with 7:6(5), 4:6, 6:2.

In the next phase Dimitrov will face the winner of the match between Rafael Nadal and John Isner.

Grigor Dimitrov will be placed under No. 7 at the  US Open, which will be held in New York from 28 August to 10 September. The race is from the Grand Slam.
