Dozens of perfectly preserved ancient shipwrecks have been found at the bottom of the Black Sea.
A total of 60 wrecks were discovered dating back as far as 2,500 years, including galleys from the Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman empires.
Scientists stumbled upon the graveyard while using underwater robots to survey the effects of climate change along the Bulgarian coast.

The Black Sea MAP project, one of the largest maritime archaeological projects ever, revealed 60 well-preserved shipwrecks that illustrate the history of more than two millennia of seafaring.

More than 40 ancient shipwrecks from the Ottoman and Byzantine periods have been found during a mapping expedition in the depths of the Black Sea where there is no light and no oxygen, the Daily Mail has reported.
