Dacic meets with Interpol secretary-general

BELGRADE - Serbian Interior Minister Ivica Dacic met with Interpol Secretary-General Jurgen Stock on Wednesday, conveying Serbia's interest in deepening its intensive cooperation with the organisation.

Dacic noted that the Serbian Interior Ministry was a dependable partner in the fight against organised crime, the ministry said in a statement.

Security Minister Warns of Jihadists Returning to Bosnia

Bosnian Security Minister Dragan Mektic also warned that a number of former IS fighters will return to Bosnia, and announced tighter cooperation with Interpol on the issue.

"On that matter we will be receiving certain analysis and data from Interpol," Mektic said at the press conference with the Secretary General of Interpol, Jurgen Stock, in Sarajevo on Wednesday.

Interpol's secretary general says that due to "the return of jihadis" and their defeat in Iraq and Syria, the international security situation is changing.

Speaking at a press conference in Sarajevo, where is in on an official visit, Jurgen Stock said that the threat of international terrorism, organized crime and cyber crime is now "greater than before at the international level."
