The Bulgarian rhythmic gymnastics ensemble has secured a spot in the all-around final at the XXXIII Olympic Games in Paris. The team, consisting of Magdalina Minevska, Sofia Ivanova, Kamelia Petrova, Rachel Stoyanov, and Margarita Vasileva, delivered impressive performances in their two routines during today's qualification.

Bulgarian rhythmic gymnastics celebrated a historic triumph at the European Championships in Budapest, securing three gold medals. The victorious performances in the "Papp László" arena resonated with the Bulgarian anthem three times, mirroring their success from May 20, 2023, in Baku, where they also won three titles in one day.

Bulgaria's female competitors won the team title at the 40th World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in the Spanish city of Valencia. Thus, the team takes the gold again after a break of 30 years, BTA reported.

Bulgarian athletes completely dominated and won a record 13 medals at the 39th European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in Baku. Boryana Kaleyn, Stiliyana Nikolova, Eva Brezalieva and the ensembles for women and girls won five gold, five silver and three bronze medals. Thus, Bulgaria finished in first place in the medal ranking, ahead of Italy and Israel.

After Boryana Kaleyn won the all-around title earlier yesterday, the ensemble also won the gold medals.

The Bulgarian ensemble won the world title in the all-around at the rhythmic gymnastics world championship in Sofia. Radina Tomova, Zhenina Trashlieva, Rachel Stoyanov, Sofia Ivanova, Kamelia Petrova and Margarita Vasileva triumphed in their debut at a similar forum, in front of their home audience.
