Bulgaria's Stock Exchange - Sofia reported a turnover of BGN 416,003,870 for 2016, or BGN 5,224,827 more than in 2015.
Deals on the regulated market were 58,442 in 2016.

The deadline for the evaluation of insurance and pension funds has been extended until the end of January, announced the Financial Supervision Commission.
Initially, the deadline for the results of the review of the assets of pension funds and of the balance of insurers was the end of December.

Bulgaria Plans No More Eurobond Issues in 2016, Official Says
Bulgaria won't issue further Eurobonds this year after successfully issuing a EUR 1.994 B dual-tranche bond earlier this week, GlobalCapital has reported.
The deal was consisting of a EUR 1.144 B seven-year tranche and a EUR 850 M 12-year tranche.
IMF Mission Starts Visit to Bulgaria
A regular IMF Article IV mission starts a ten-day visit to Bulgaria on Wednesday to discuss key short-term and medium-term macroeconomic forecasts and assumptions, the Finance Ministry has said.
The mission headed by Mrs. Michele Shannon will also discuss the government's policies for ensuring macroeconomic growth and economic recovery drivers, the ministry said in a statement.

Caretaker Deputy Ministers Keep Their Posts in PM Borisov’s Government
Bulgaria's Prime Minister Boyko Borisov on Monday appointed several deputy ministers under proposals made by the respective heads of ministries.
Katya Todorova, Valentin Poryazov and Rumen Alexandrov will carry on as deputy ministers of foreign affairs - posts to which they had been appointed in August by catetaker Prime Minister Georgi Bliznashki.
