Members of Turkey Democracy Platform have released a press statement and laid carnations outside Istanbul's Reina nightclub, where a gunman killed at least 39 New Year's Eve revelers in the early hours of Jan. 1.  

Crowds rushed to the site in solidarity after a deadly double bomb attack hit central Istanbul outside Beşiktaş's Vodafone Arena Stadium late on Dec. 10. 

People shouted slogans and placed carnations at the scene, where 38 people, of whom 30 were police officers and seven were civilians, lost their lives. At least 155 people were wounded in the attack. 

A rally against terror is set to be held today in Istanbul after deadly bomb attacks claimed at least 38 lives in the province's Beşiktaş district late on Dec. 10. 

Organized by Turkey Democracy Platform, the rally will start at 12 p.m.
