US President-elect Donald Trump's nominee for the next US ambassador to Greece, Kimberly Guilfoyle, a former Fox News host turned political fundraiser, has expressed excitement about her new role.

U.S. President-elect Donald Trump on Tuesday named Tom Barrack, a prominent businessman, as the next U.S. ambassador to Türkiye.

"I am pleased to announce that Tom Barrack will serve as our next Ambassador to Türkiye," Trump said in a post on his Truth Social platform.

President-elect Donald Trump announced Monday that he is nominating Kimberly Guilfoyle for US ambassador to Greece. Guilfoyle, a former Fox News anchor, had a relationship with Trump’s eldest son Donald Trump Jr.

US President-elect Donald Trump on Tuesday picked Kimberly Guilfoyle, a former Fox News host turned political fundraiser, as the next US ambassador to Greece and Tom Barrack, the chair of his 2016 inaugural committee, the next ambassador to Turkey.

Guilfoyle has been engaged to Trump's son Donald Trump Jr since December 31, 2020.

CBS News is reporting that US President-elect Donald Trump is considering appointing Kimberly Guilfoyle, a former prosecutor and former Fox New TV host, and current fiancee of his son Donald, Jr. as the new US Ambassador to Greece.

"Three sources familiar with the selection" have confirmed the report to CBS News.
