The Sani Festival 2024 will conclude with a celebratory concert. On Saturday, August 10th, the Gipsy Kings, following their major success on the Acoustic Scene at Glastonbury, will be performing with Tonino Baliardo on the Sani Festival stage.

Film star Michael Douglas will receive an honorary Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival later this month, the organizers announced on May 3.

The award recognizes the 78-year-old's "brilliant career and engagement with cinema" and there will be a homage to the actor during the opening ceremony on May 16.

Legendary actor Kirk Douglas has died at the age of 103, his son, actor Michael Douglas, confirmed on Feb. 5.

"It is with tremendous sadness that my brothers and I announce that Kirk Douglas left us today at the age of 103," Michael said on Instagram.

Jay Leno is making a comeback - in Israel. The late-night legend says he will return to Israel in June to host the award ceremony for the second annual "Genesis Prize." Leno also hosted the inaugural ceremony last year for what is billed as "the Jewish Nobel Prize."
