Dog waits for sick owner in front of hospital for two weeks
When Mehmet Çakmak, an 81-year-old resident in the Black Sea province of Ordu, was rushed to a hospital due to a sudden heart attack, his dog patiently waited for him outside the hospital for two weeks until he was discharged.
Baksı Museum wins award at short film contest
Baksı Museum - an extraordinary collection of traditional and modern artwork, located in the southeastern Bayburt Province - has won an award for a short film from the international "Museums in Short" contest.
Directed by Kadir Saraç, the film competed with 55 videos from 26 countries and drew praise from the jury.

Movie to be shot in 'Dracula's castle' in Turkey
A movie is due to be shot at Tokat Castle, Turkey?s second-largest castle in the northern province of Tokat, where it is claimed that Wallachian Prince Vlad III ?The Impaler,? also known as Dracula, was held captive in one of the the castle?s dungeons in the early 15th century.
