BELGRADE - Serbian Interior Ministry has officially confirmed today that members of MIA arrested N.T. (1976) from Urosevac, on the basis of an arrest warrant by order of the High Court in Nis for the crime of terrorism.

Two Serbs cleared in case of murder of Kosovo police member

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA -- A three-member panel of EULEX judges found on Monday Radovan Radic and Milovan Vlaskovic of Zubin Potok, northern Kosovo, not guilty of killing Enver Zumberi.

Zumberi, a member of the Kosovo special police unit ROSU, was killed four years ago.

BELGRADE - Two young men of Serbian nationality have been wounded in a shootout in the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica, deputy regional director of the Kosovo Police Besim Hoti said Monday.

BELGRADE - Director of the Serbian government's Office for Kosovo-Metohija (KiM) Marko Djuric has urged the provincial authorities and competent representatives of the international community to urgently find and punish the perpetrators of an attack in northern Kosovska Mitrovica in which a young Serb man was stabbed in the chest late on Thurdsay, the Office for KiM said in a release.

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - The Appellate Court in Pristina has put in home detention two attorneys from Kosovska Mitrovica, Dejan A. Vasic and Faruk Korenica, who are suspected of influencing and threatening witnesses in the ongoing court proceedings.

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - Officials of the Office for Kosovo-Metohija (KiM), the Kosovska Mitrovica self-government and the organization of the war veterans of the 90s marked on Monday the tenth anniversary on the 2004 March pogrom laying wreaths at memorials to victims including two citizens of Kosovska Mitrovica, Borivoje Spasojevic and Jana Tucev.

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - The Citizens' Initiative Srpska and the Citizens' Initiative SDP Oliver Ivanovic forged a coalition agreement in Kosovska Mitrovica, according to which the chairman of the municipal assembly and mayor cannot be from the same initiative.
