Lajcak intends to renew the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina in June

That could happen as early as June.
Lajcak presented this intention to the diplomatic representatives of the EU member states at the meeting of the EU Political and Security Committee, where he once again received strong formal support to resume the dialogue on the normalization of relations between the so-called Kosovo and Serbia.

The Balkans will be one of the US main fronts, so they want the Kosovo issue resolved

He also states that the influence of the United States will be strengthened, while Chinese foreign policy will face the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic, pointing out that the appointment of Lajcak and Borrell as special envoys for the dialogue on Kosovo is a wrong move on the part of EU.

"It is not Grenell, Borrell and Lajcak who are changing the (Kosovo) borders"

"Neither Grenell, nor Borrell, or Lajcak can change borders or exchange territories," President of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, said in a post on Facebook.
The LDK President says Pristina must trust its allies, believe in the US and EU, as well as in itself.

Lajcak: Slovakia can pass on its experience of joining EU to Western Balkan countries

Following an informal meeting of the Slovak Parliamentary European Affairs Committee, Lajcak said that Slovakia had successfully completed the path the Western Balkans decided to take, TASR reports.
The meeting was dedicated to the preparations for the EU-Western Balkans Summit, to be held on Wednesday in the form of a video conference.

"Next months crucial, EU faces risk if it doesn't send a clear signal to Serbia"

He also warned of the risks that the Union could face if it did not send a clear signal to the region.
"It is necessary to find a new consensus on opening accession negotiations with Albania and North Macedonia, to improve enlargement policy and to prepare the EU-Western Balkans Summit in May", Lajcak said.

"Dayton 2 unrealistic; others can't solve Bosnia's problems"

The idea concerns "redefining" the Dayton Peace Accord signed in 1995 to end the war in Bosnia-Herzegovina (BiH).

According to the former Slovak foreign minister and former high international representative in Bosnia , it is "not realistic to once again sign an agreement that would define that country," N1 and Beta are reporting on Friday.
