Kosovo Heightens Security For Elections
With general elections looming in Kosovo on Sunday, the authorities in Pristina have increased measures in order to prevent fraud or intimidation at polling stations.
Alongside 27,733 election observers, around 100 prosecutors will be on duty across the country to ensure that no corrupt acts or crimes take place during voting.

Kosovo to Ensure Smooth Elections also in North
The Kosovo state prosecution and police on Monday said they were preparing a joint action plan for the general elections due on June 8.
The prosecution system will be working with more than 100 prosecutors and 300 staff members from the time that ballot boxes open at 7am until they close at 7pm, Laura Pula, from the state prosecution, said.

Kosovo Probing 200 People for Corruption
The prosecutor’s national coordinator for corruption cases, Laura Pula, on Friday said that from November of 2013 to February this year, prosecutors across the country had raised 83 indictments for corruption against 196 people.
