Restoration of the Ancient Theater of Delphi on track
Restoration work at the 4th century BC Theater of Delphi in central Greece, a UNESCO World Heritage monument, is being intensified, after the unanimous approval by the Central Archaeological Council of the geotechnical study and the implementation study for the restoration of its eastern part.
Antiquity missing since WWII returns to Greece
An ancient artifact, missing since German occupation, has been returned to Greece by Hanover's municipality and the August Kestner Museum, the Greek Culture Ministry announced on Tuesday.
The artifact, a 620-600 BC three-leaf oinochoe with a lid, resurfaced with inscribed decoration. Initially acquired in 1986, the museum confirmed its illegal removal during Nazi rule.

Culture Minister deems Netflix’s Alexander the Great as ‘low quality fiction’
A Netflix series about Alexander the Great is "fiction of extremely poor quality, lowly content and full of historical inaccuracies," Culture Minister Lina Mendoni said on Wednesday.
The series "The Making of a God" stirred controversy in Greece as it touched upon a sensitive topic, as it featured a homosexual relationship between Alexander the Great and Hephaistion.
