Djere defeated in Wimbledon first round
LONDON - Serbian tennis player Laslo Djere has suffered an early exit from Wimbledon after losing 3-6, 7-6(7-4), 3-6, 6-3, 6-1 to Frenchman Lucas Pouille in the first round on Wednesday.
Pouille won after a total of two hours and 53 minutes of play.
The encounter began on Tuesday but was interrupted by a rain delay, with the score tied 1-1 in sets.

Pouille beats Krajinovic once again
DUBAI - Serbian tennis player Filip Krajinovic has failed to qualify for his second ATP tournament final after losing 6-3, 6-7 (4-7), 7-6 (7-5) to Frenchman Lucas Pouille in Dubai on Friday.
The current world number 15 lost to Pouille for the second time in just a week after two and a half hours of play and several rain delays.

Bulgaria's Dimitrov Retains 18th Spot in Global Ranking
Grigor Dimitrov of Bulgaria has kept his 18th place in the ATP ranking, the association's website shows.
Dimitrov returned to the world's Top 20 after picking up this summer, following more than a year of heavy defeats which caused him to sing down the world ranking.
Lucas Pouille and Richard Gasquett, both from France, are No 17 and 19, respectively.

Grigor Dimitrov of Bulgaria has made it to the quarterfinals of the tennis tournament in Beijing after facing touch challenge by Lucas Pouille of France.
Dimitrov turned the table after being at the verge of defeat, at 6:7, 4:5.
At two points from defeat, however, the Bulgarian returned the breakthrough, resulting in a tie-break. The game ended 6:7(3), 7:6(0), 6:4.
Bulgaria's Dimitrov Bounces Back from Rough Start in Beijing
The highest-ranking Bulgarian tennis player, Grigor Dimitrov, made it to the second round of China Open after a hard victory against Steve Johnson.
It took Dimitrov three sets and 2 h 45 min to defeat Johnson in a 7:6, 6:7, 6:4 game. Specialized websites suggest that Dimitrov dominated the game, but missed several opportunities to score a swift win.
Troicki ousted from Monte Carlo Masters
MONTE CARLO - Serbia's tennis player Viktor Troicki failed to reach the third round at the Monte Carlo Masters on Wednesday, after losing to John Isner of the U.S. 7-6 (7-4), 7-6 (7-5).
Serbia's second best player did not have a proper response to Isner's serve, and did not manage to make a single break.
