Ljubljana – A special book about Milan Kučan, Slovenia’s first president, has been released ahead of his 80th birthday that will be celebrated on Thursday. The publication features 85 impressions of Kučan, including eight by foreign figures.

Kosovo Assembly sends proposal to abolish KLA court to govt.
The Presidency of the Kosovo Assembly has decided to send a proposal to abolish the Specialist Chambers (special court) to the government.
The court has been set up to deal with the alleged war crimes committed by former top ranking members of the KLA ("Kosovo Liberation Army").

Man Dies After Falling in Elevator Shaft in Sofia
Man died after falling from the 14th floor into an elevator shaft in Sofia's residential district Serdika on Friday evening.
The man fell in the shaft after opening the door of the elevator, while the lift was on the upper 15th floor, the Bulgarian National Radio (BNR) reports.
