The aging star of Ludogorets - Marcelinho, won the First League player's first prize in the InStat Index.
The ranking was established at the start of the First League campaign by the Association of Bulgarian Football Players (ABF), in cooperation with INSTAT - one of the largest soccer analysis and statistics companies.

The champion Ludogorets won the Super Cup of Bulgaria after winning 1:0 over the winner of the Cup of the country Slavia. The match was played at the Trace Arena in Stara Zagora and the only goal scored by the Romanian Claudiu Keseru in the 31st minute  after a combination with Marcelinho.

The team of CSKA Sofia achieved a 2-1 victory after extra minutes in a match against Ludogorets and eliminated the champion of the Bulgarian Cup football tournament. The quarterfinal match was played in front of about 6000 spectators of the Bulgarian Army Stadium and the decisive goal was scored by Kiril Despodov in the 96th minute.

"Ludogorets" continues without loss in the group stage of the Europa League tournament and is the leader in its group. The champions failed to defeat the visiting Portuguese from Braga and ended the match with a 1:1 draw. Marcelinho opened the score in the 68th minute, while Francesco equalizing in the 83rd.

Ludogorets qualified for the second time in its history for the group stage in the Europa League tournament after the 2013/14 season. This became possible after the Razgrad players finished 0:0 against Seduva in Lithuania on the playoff kickoff for a place in the groups.

Ludogorets is out of the Champions League! This happened after an unbelievable drama in the third round of the tournament against Apoel (Beer Sheva), which the eagles won 3-1, but having lost 0-2 a week ago in Israel they left the race due to the goal they received in Razgrad.
