Tsitsipas' mentor opens new academy in Dubai
Patrick Mouratoglou, the French tennis expert who discovered and coached Greek tennis sensation Stefanos Tsitsipas, announced last month the opening of a Mouratoglou Tennis Center Jumeirah in Dubai.
In collaboration with the prestigious Jumeirah hotel group, the Mouratoglou Tennis Center opened its doors on December 15 marking the beginning of Mouratoglou's international expansion.

Greek players making a name for themselves at Aussie Open
Stefanos Tsitsipas earned more than $100,000 in prize money for winning his third-round match at the Australian Open. Just as important to the 20-year-old born in Athens, he's going to have a souvlaki named after him at a Greek restaurant in Melbourne.
Krajinovic through to Dubai quarters
DUBAI - Serbian tennis player Filip Krajinovic is through to the quarter-finals of the Dubai ATP tournament after beating Cypriot Marcos Baghdatis 7-6 (7-2), 6-4 in the second round on Wednesday.
Remarkably, Baghdatis defeated Serbia's Viktor Troicki in the opening round.

Romanian tennis player Marius Copil qualified on Friday for the semifinals of the ATP tournament in Sofia, featuring overall prizes of 501,345 euro, after defeating Luxembourg Gilles Muller, third seed, 6-4, 6-4.
Grigor Dimitrov on the Court Again on Wednesday at 10:00 Bulgarian Time
Grigor Dimitrov will come out of the second round of the Australian Open Cup against American Mackenzie McDonald again on the Main Court. The meeting will be on Wednesday (January 17th) and is expected to begin at 10:00 am Bulgarian time.
The match is the first in the evening session and will begin after two women's matches and the second match in the Rafael Nadal tournament.

ISTANBUL - Serbia's Viktor Troicki has got off to a successful start at the Istanbul ATP tennis tournament after beating Cypriot Marcos Baghdatis 7-5, 6-4 in the opening round on Tuesday.
Troicki, who won after 95 minutes of play, is now 2-3 head-to-head against Baghdatis.

Bulgaria's Dimitrov Retains 18th Spot in Global Ranking
Grigor Dimitrov of Bulgaria has kept his 18th place in the ATP ranking, the association's website shows.
Dimitrov returned to the world's Top 20 after picking up this summer, following more than a year of heavy defeats which caused him to sing down the world ranking.
Lucas Pouille and Richard Gasquett, both from France, are No 17 and 19, respectively.
Troicki beats Baghdatis to advance to Chengdu quarters
CHENGDU - Serbia's Viktor Troicki is through to the quarter-finals of the ATP tennis tournament in Chengdu, China, after beating Cypriot Marcos Baghdatis 6-3, 4-6, 6-2.
Troicki won after an hour and 48 minutes of play and is now 2-5 head-to-head against Baghdatis.
He will next face Kevin Anderson of South Africa.
The prize money in Chengdu is 840,915 dollars.
Troicki through to Chengdu second round, to face Baghdatis
CHENGDU - Serbia's Viktor Troicki is through to the second round of the ATP tennis tournament in Chengdu, China, after beating young Norwegian Casper Ruud 6-3, 7-6 (7-4) on Wednesday following a rain delay.
The match had been interrupted on Tuesday as Troicki lead 6-3, 3-2.
The Serbian won the match after a total of 78 minutes of play.
