As Sofia marks 145 years since its declaration as the capital of Bulgaria, the capital municipality is abuzz with celebrations commemorating this historic milestone.

Night transport in Sofia is being restored from today after a three-year interruption. There are two bus lines - #1 from "Lyulin 1" to "Mladost 4" and #2 from "Studentski Grad" to "Obelya".

Until January 20 next year, trams with numbers 4,6,7,8 and 10 will run with a changed route, the Center for Urban Mobility announced. Tram line 1 remains closed, and line 5 will continue to run from the Knyazhevo district to the Buxton tram line.
